Dith Tina, the minister of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, encouraged people to celebrate Cambodian goods on Valentine’s Day.
“If you care about your family, you’ll ensure that they consume a balanced diet. Isn’t it true that today is a festival of love?” he asked.
The minister recognized Valentine’s Day, which falls on February 14, as an opportunity to speak with younger Cambodians about the value of clean, safe meals.
Instead of setting up stalls outside its headquarters to sell flowers or chocolates, the ministry of agriculture supplied them with a variety of Cambodian goods and fresh fruit.
