“I’ve never had to write a post this hard. At six o’clock this morning, Anastasia passed away. When Andrew checked on her when he got home, she wasn’t breathing. We went to the children’s hospital after I performed CPR up until the ambulance arrived, Mrs. Day-Weaver stated on her Facebook page.
Anastasia was declared dead at Akron Children’s Hospital, according to Weaver, after being transported there for 15 minutes.
No information on the cause of death has been made public.
“We don’t know exactly what happened. We are devastated and in shock. We will release updates as soon as we have them, said Mrs. Day-Weaver.
A family friend is planning a meal train for the family during this trying time, with the option to donate cash or gift cards.
According to an online obituary, Anastasia was born on November 11, 2016, in Boardman, Ohio. Caitlin was her identical twin sister.
