Six-year-old Anastasia Weaver abruptly passed away on January 25 in the Akron Children’s Hospital emergency room in Boardman, Ohio, while accompanied by her family.

According to Anastasia’s mother, Jessica Day-Weaver, her husband, Andrew Weaver, arrived home from work on Wednesday morning to discover Anastasia unconscious.

“I’ve never had to write a post this hard. At six o’clock this morning, Anastasia passed away. When Andrew checked on her when he got home, she wasn’t breathing. We went to the children’s hospital after I performed CPR up until the ambulance arrived, Mrs. Day-Weaver stated on her Facebook page.

Anastasia was declared dead at Akron Children’s Hospital, according to Weaver, after being transported there for 15 minutes.

No information on the cause of death has been made public.

“We don’t know exactly what happened. We are devastated and in shock. We will release updates as soon as we have them, said Mrs. Day-Weaver.

A family friend is planning a meal train for the family during this trying time, with the option to donate cash or gift cards.

According to an online obituary, Anastasia was born on November 11, 2016, in Boardman, Ohio. Caitlin was her identical twin sister.

According to COVID Blog, her mother works as a nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman.

Weaver disclosed that she and her twin had gotten the COVID vaccine in a now-private Facebook post.

Post from November 11, 2021: “Both girls receive their first dosage of the vaccine after an hour and a half of screaming. Anna mastered it without any issues. For an hour and a half, Caitlin shouted and sobbed. When the pharmacist was able to administer the shot, she did not cry. I’m spent.
