RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel is expected to easily win an unprecedented fourth term when the ballots are counted on Friday, according to the general consensus at the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting.
Despite determined opposition from Harmeet Dhillon, an RNC committeewoman from California, her supporters claim Mrs. McDaniel’s interpersonal and party-building abilities are the reason she will easily win reelection.
Members of the RNC, even those from states where the GOP has had difficulty, praise Mrs. McDaniel for her attention to their concerns ever since she took the helm in 2017.
“Ronna has done a great job as the chair. The party has done her very well. Her fundraising efforts have set new records. Republican Connecticut Party Chairman Ben Proto told The Washington Times, “She’s been incredibly supportive of many areas, especially states where the Republican Party hasn’t always done well.
Mrs. McDaniel should get credit for helping to create the celebration, according to Mr. Proto.
