Chea Sina, a representative of the Cambodian Red Cross in Phnom Penh, delivered donations to 380 households residing in the garbage region of Dangkor.
Sina delivered the donations to the families this morning and stated that Prime Minister Hun Sen and the administrators of the Phnom Penh Capital Administration have always had the poor, the weak, and disaster victims in mind and in their care, regardless of caste, color, creed, religion, or political affiliation.
She added that while the gifts being given out at this time cannot totally solve the issues of the impoverished, they do demonstrate concern without prejudice in keeping with the Premier’s suggestions.
She urged everyone to keep an eye on their health and keep helping to stop the spread of Covid-19 during that time as well.
