During her visit to the sales booths, Tina said that the ministry had thought of farmers on Valentine’s Day and had shown their love for them by advertising their products.
The ministry decided to market chemical-free veggies rather than the Kingdom’s lovely flowers because, in the minds of most people, vegetables are more directly associated with the work of the farming community, the official continued.
We’re educating the public today about some of the fantastic chemical- and fertiliser-free veggies that Cambodia grows. I want the quality to get better going forward, and we need to raise demand for safe, high-quality produce to make that possible,” he concluded.
