China and North Korea: Why China supports North Korea Nuclear program?

North Korean Nuclear program is the international concern and threats that would bring the undesirable consequences. In his opening speech to the Senate of Armed Services Committee in 2018, he said “North Korean wants to assure its survival by this nuclear”. In his different articles and interviews, he mentions as follows:  a) America will lose its creditability of maintaining those countries like Japan and South Korea under its nuclear security, b) The Countries like Japan, South Korean and even Vietnam will follow to build their own nuclear program in which the Nuclear will be widely proliferated, c) China is likely to be risker than US, the world will be under nuclear chaos. But what is China game here?

Historically, China used to defend Korea for the invasion of Japan, then Chinese intervention in Korean War in 1950s to end the Chinese period of humiliation and reassert Chinese traditional superiority on the region. There is also about Chinese concept of deterrence which lies on the advantaged positions. In the simple word, China afraid of encirclement. Henry wrote to the World Street Journal that there are two Chinese major concerns: a) the political and social effects of a North Korean internal crisis on China itself, re-enacting events familiar from millennia of Chinese history, and b) the involving security in Northeast Asia.
